Accounting Officer

As an Accounting Officer, you will ensure the accuracy and completeness of the financial records and transactions of the company. You will collect, organize and record financial data, as well as monitor the financial accounts. You will prepare periodic reports, such as the balance sheet and income statement, and assist with the monthly and year-end closing and the tax filing processes.
This position will challenge you to work meticulously and requires you to be punctual. We expect you to be proactive and have a "get it done" mentality applying a solid problem-solving attitude. If you are passionate about numbers, accurate in keeping track and managing financial records, this is the role for you!

Responsibilities
- Collecting, organizing and registering financial data
- Monitoring the creditors and debtors administration
- Preparation of periodic reports (including balance sheet and income statement)
- Year-end closing procedure and preparation of tax returns
Must Have
- Certified Accounting Technician (CAT), HBO Accountancy or higher
- Basic knowledge of using computer programs (including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and smooth typing skills)
- Punctual work ethic including integrity, reliability & confidentiality
Nice to have
- Professional, proactive and organized personality with an accurate, eager to learn and critical attitude
- Good communication skills and fluent in the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written
- Experience with accounting software
